Instructions and Help about Va form 10-10ez 2024

Breaking news on a very unfamiliar program that many veterans may not be familiar with, called the Aid and Attendance program through the VA (Veterans Administration). You may not be aware of it because I know I wasn't, even though I had worked for ten years at USAA, a veteran myself with four generations of membership. The fact that I never heard of Aid and Attendance is crazy, considering it's a wonderful benefit out there for wartime veterans. And you don't need to be a combat veteran, just a wartime veteran. Now, let's talk about it here, but before I do, don't forget to subscribe to stay updated on all the breaking news we discuss for veterans. Now, let's move on to the breaking news from the estate and asset protection law firm, led by Vicki Collier from Decatur, Georgia. She has an amazing website and seems to be a credible firm, though I don't have any personal experience with them. My friend Jamie, whose husband was a retired Air Force pilot, and whose dad was a retired Navy captain, had never heard of the Aid and Attendance program until her mom needed assisted living and long-term care. We both worked at USAA and were veterans, yet had never heard of it. I can bet that the majority of you, veteran or not, have never heard of it either. The firm released an urgent legal announcement about the VA imposing a three-year look-back for transfers that affect wartime veterans. The proposed amendments were made in 2015 and on September 18th, 2018, the new rules finally went into effect, starting from October 18th, 2018. The new rules include the three-year look-back period for asset transfers, beginning in October 2018.
